Generally:

for a start, I generally like the page, it is a good starting place and has all necessary information on it
the whole page looks slightly more organized (possibly due to the smaller icons for twitter etc), but the top of the page still seems a bit overloaded to me. Could we possibly restructure the top some time? I know that that is not on the top of the priority list, but once some more software changes have been done, we could look at the marketing aspect a bit more...

I like:

the new screen shot, which makes OpenPetra appear clearer (I found the one with many windows a bit... frightening)
as mentioned, the slightly better structuring in the upper right corner

I don't like:

the light grey in the title area looks quite ugly on my computer (and in my opinion - sorry to say it this way)

generally the layout is clearer and more appealing, in my eyes. Well done!

What I am not so sure about is the text in the top next to the openPETRA logo being completely white - the contrast isn't that high to the surrounding light grey area and that makes the text somewhat less stand out and somewhat hard to read.

If the language is switched to 'German' then the news feed in the 'Neuigkeiten' section does not render Umlauts correctly, whereas the current web site does this OK when switched to 'German'.

The coding mismatch:
The website declares to be UTF8 (which is great!) while the news stream seems to be Latin 1.

We are aware of the Umlauts. Timotheus will have a look at that.

Which other colors would you propose for the slogan and its background?

I have fixed the Umlaute now, all utf-8 now.

You can upload attachements to the post in this phpBB instance. see upload attachement below posting a post, beside options.

For the colors: I don't know enough about colors, but the green could be worth a try.

I'm glad to see, that the new website is online :-)

Concerning the colors: "Contact | Support | Shortcuts" have not a good contrast after changing to green.
Perhaps using white?
