My name's Tim - I've recently moved to Carlisle to join the OpenPetra team.
I've been involved in software development for many years - studies at UMIST in Manchester UK, and on graduation married and stayed there for 29 years, even though we never did think of it as "home"!
I have several jobs with manufacturers, both specialising in "scientific / technical" areas. In 2001 I left to concentrate on my own business.
As a self-employed technical specialist, I never did make much money, but I had a very interesting and varied workload, and a small number of very happy customers. http://deltalights.co.uk

I developed the song projection software - WorshipSession, which is quite old now but still has a small band of loyal followers. http://worshipsession.info
We raised 2 children - Rebekah and Michael. Both have recently left home, so since last September we are more free to do something different, and surprisingly, the idea of moving to Carlisle came up! It seems that our life has changed in a blink, although in fact it's been several months. We're surprised, but not sad, to have made the move from Manchester to Carlisle - we're excited about new opportunities that God has for us.
