joejoe2010 Hi all, I recently read on the wiki about changing the logging system to log4net. Wolfgang has been doing an investigation about it (see http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/openpetraorg/index.php?title=Evaluation_and_Comparison_of_different_logging_Systems#log4net_advantages and http://sourceforge.net/apps/mantisbt/openpetraorg/view.php?id=62). What would be the requirements for log4net. What expectations from chaning to log4net? Fe. using several log levels (I read that this is not possible with Ict.Common.Logging)? Supporting chainsaw? pokorra Hello Joachim, at the moment, it is just a nice to have feature. We do not have the resources to do such a big change, and we have bigger things that need to be done in other areas. Timotheus
