OpenPetra's Main Menu just got an overhaul: the way how individual menu items (Tasks) are displayed has been drastically improved!

Before the overhaul the Tasks were displayed in a somewhat technical fashion - as a list of items in a grid-like list that didn't convey that these were menu items that could be clicked.

Now the menu items are displayed in a much more friendly and modern 'look'. Moreover, the way how the menu items are displayed can be customised by the user through the all-new 'View' pulldown menu: a choice of three Task sizes, two ways of displaying the Tasks, and whether the Tasks behind the menu items should be launched by single-click or double-click can all be selected by the user. This allows quite a bit of the Main Menu to be tailored to the user's preference.

Here's a screenshot of it:

The new Task List will be available in the next release of OpenPetra.

Hi Christian,

I like the new design very much.
But I noticed that the last words of some items and its descriptions are only visible on choosing Task Size=Large.

Wouldn't it be possible to distribute those comments which consist of many words/letters on 2 lines?

Greetings
Joachim
