Compilation of the online application forms

Hello everybody,

I tried to compile the online application forms as described herehttps://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/openpetraorg/index.php?title=Implementation_of_Online_Application_Forms_with_OpenPetra-

Unfortunately I get an error when I try to execute the second command:
nant generateWebform -d:file=Samples/SimpleForm

The error message is "Unknown argument '-d:file=Samples/SimpleForm'.

What can I do?

A general question: Should I add problems like these also to the mantis-tracker?

Hello Joachim,

I think the problem is that you need a capital d: -D:file=...
You can also try nant generateWebforms, which is quite fast anyways, and the number of forms is still small.

I think if you are not sure about an issue, it is easier to write in the forum, than to create an issue in the tracker. But it does not really matter, it is good both ways, thanks for reporting anything that you think is strange!

thanks for your reply.

I've already been trying nant generateWebforms which was successful.

A capital D doesn't solve the problem because nant mentions that webForm doesn't exist
(possibly there's missing an s on the wiki page).

If I try to run the webServer (after executing nant generateWebforms) the build succeeds but then I get the errormessage that Windows can't find xsp2.bat (see attachment)

ah, and I realize: I am currently still working in a branch, because I did not want to confuse everyone else with my work on the webforms.

You need to checkout my branch webformsTimotheus to see the latest changes and to see the sources of the demo version at demo.openpetra.org:8009/.

You will need to install Mono for Windows, which contains the xsp2 program. Also make sure the path is set correctly in the OpenPetra.build.config file.
