Problem with wordpress

Hi everybody,

I've been trying to upload the Spanish pages to wordpress.
First I created the page "spanish-site" and then I created the first spanish page and added "spanish-site" as parent. This worked well. The direction for the path is correct: sourceforge.net/apps/wordpress/ ... traorg-es/

But if I'm trying now to add another page and then select "spanish-site" as parent, the permalink of the page isn't updated.
It stays on: sourceforge.net/apps/wordpress/ ... act-us-es/

Any ideas?

I've also been downloading a program called BlogDesk but couldn't connect it to sourceforge-wordpress.
Do you have any experience with this program - or a similar?

Hello

I've shortly investigated the problem and, yes your link might be on the right way but first you have to realize that you do not deliver a spanish page. A short look inside to the html tells me that you are delivering an English page - <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" dir="ltr" lang="en-US">

Furthermore in wordpress you find the admin interface by using the path /wp-admin/ and on the sourceforge site I cannot find anything. So i challenge that you are able to do this. Some years ago I've created a small word press account (blogmermal.wordpress.com/) in oder to be able for a small training course but even on this page I've no rights to make this change.

Hello Joachim,
I have tried this now as well with the Wordpress installation of Sourceforge.
It works a bit clumsy, but you get it to work with the correct path including the parent page this way:

First you need to select the Parent page, spanish site.
Then you should click "edit" on the permanent link, and even if you make no change, click save on the permalink, and then click "save draft".
The permalink does change to what you expect.

I have tried this for a couple of pages, and it worked.

Regarding BlogDesk: I have enabled this in the Sourceforge Wordpress (BlogDesk FAQ: "go to Settings / Writing and activate the XML-RPC protocol").
Unfortunately, I could not get it to work. sourceforge.net/apps/wordpress/o ... xmlrpc.php shows "XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.", so that at least works, but when I try to upload something from BlogDesk, it gives an error message.

For the moment, I think the web interface just has to do.
If you change the default view to display 100 pages in the list, and open the pages in a new tab window in your browser, you don't get lost too much, I hope.
